Autumn in my garden

This deserted swing stands symbol for my children growing up, and fleeing the nest. They are spending more and more time with their friends, and prefer to do that everywhere, but please, not at home!
This is of course perfectly normal, but not always easy...

What a lovly picture of your garden. I don't have children, but my sister has 8, and while she has encouraged them all to flee and make lives of their own, each parting has been bittersweet. She thought it would get eaiser as time went on. It was with great humor she related a story about her youngest daugter 22, a new mother in the throws of learning the ends and outs of nursing her brand new baby. She told me her daughter said "hey you actully know all about this :)" so quiet it may be and years from now, and maybe not in the to distant future your utter wisdom will come shining through as a beacon! They won't knwo what hit them :)
Oh and thanks for the reminder of the wonderful photos in the last post.

wunderful photo of your garden.
know what you mean, but if they have a life of their own, it is great to have coffee with them in their own home!
take care of you,

Beautiful garden... I don't think I could ever grow-up too much to leave that swing behind!
