Knitting with a cat

Another finished pair of socks! Mmm, I like to finish something.

This afternoon, I tried to work a bit on this long neglected project: a knitted top for myself. I have to count all the stitches, and it is going to take me ages! But I want to finish it before I start other and more rewarding things, like embroidery.

Yes, boring indeed...

Nice socks,Sabine! I almost finished the frist part of the poncho. I think I need two more evenings.
Now you make me want to do some embroidery as well...I'll call you soon xxx

Those socks are beaut! Don't you just love when all the stripes line up like that? Almost perfect but just "off" enough so that they still have that handmade feel.

Also, thanks so much for putting a link to my blog in your sidebar! I'm *blushing*!

Marvelous socks!! I can't for the life of me manage to knit in the round. I want to make socks so badly and my hands just won't do it. I'm always sooo impressed by sock knitters!!

When you use short needles, it's easier, I think. A bit of practice and I'm sure you can do it!

Those socks are gorgeous. I really like those autumny colours. Learning to knit socks is one of the things on my to-do list.
