I really want 2008 to become the year of finished projects, and look what I stumbled upon: a pair of forgotten mittens I started in ...2000! I found the pattern in Marie Claire Idées, and luckily, I still like them enough to finish them.
In the past week (I think we had the worst weather ever in March, hail and snow and rain), I passed my time with browsing trough old postcards, pictures, letters,... I found these pictures of my mother when she was young. Pictures like this always make me wonder: why can't I look as glamourous as the women did in the fifties?
Bella Dia has a very cheerful blog to look at. Cute Easter chick. This tutorial for a crocheted heart is something I want to try! I love this serie of little felt houses, such an inspiration.
Go here if you love making lists. It's not really a blog, I know, but you can read other people's lists. Nice, when you have a bit of spare time on your computer.
Normally, my capelet would have been finished this week, but I ran out of yarn about 5 rows before the end! Frustration! So I had to order the same yarn, I will have it in about 2 weeks. In the meantime, I am working on an old quilt. I want to finish this project before I work on something else, but I am very afraid that this is to become the "famous never ending quilt".
