Back in time

Look what I've rediscovered! A lot of old pictures of my family.
Before they fade away, I want to scan them all. So from time to time, I will post these old pictures on my blog.
Here's my mother with her parents, she was an only child.

I discovered this fun site on Trudi's blog, and I made myself this outfit. I seem to spend all my time working at the computer these last weeks (I have a deadline for the end of this month) and making this set was a good intermezzo.

Yes, more Flickr inspiration! As you can see, there are a lot of talented knitters around... I don't think I will ever manage to knit something as complicated as the shawls you see here. I've never tried lace knitting, but it looks really beautiful to me.

Clothes with a high waistline, capelets and ribbons give me a real "Jane Austen-feeling". It's a fashion trend that really appeals to me, it always did.

A crafting holiday

No, it was not all laziness in Burgundy, I managed to finish this knitted top for my daughter Lucy...

...and a lot of squares for my granny blanket!

Green and pink coat

I want these coats and I want them now, but I'm afraid you can only find this brand, "Avoca", in Ireland and the USA...
